History of the Knights

Knights baseball at Hillcrest High School has been around since the school opened in 1992.  The teams over the years have competed in the 4A and 5A school conferences and have been associated with Legion baseball and Connie Mack.  Over time the program as built a beautiful Varsity field and a JV field on campus and also has built an indoor training facility called the Hackshack.

The school has had several coaches over the years but none more famous than Coach Scott Barr that coached for more than 20 years retiring in 2018.  Coach Barr helped build this program from the ground up with the facilities and traditions that we pride ourselves with today.  He coached our teams to many conference championships,  several state runner-ups, and one state championship.
